After successfully completing the submission process, you will be given a voucher that can be used towards any product at iCentre. Trade in is currently available only for smartphones.

How to Trade in your device.
- Quote — Visit any of our stores to check the Trade in value of your device.
- Prepare — Back up your data and prepare your device for Trade in. Follow the guide available below.
- Submit — Return to any of our stores to submit your device. Make sure your device is in fully working condition.
- Assessment — Our in-store Apple Experts will inspect your device to verify its condition and determine the final Trade in value.
- Receive Credit — Get instant credit towards a new device or a voucher for future use on any product at iCentre.
- Upgrade & Enjoy — Apply your Trade in credit to your next purchase and enjoy the latest technology.
Get ready for Trade in.
Many iPhone and non-Apple smartphone models, including Android devices, are eligible for Trade in. The value of your device is determined by its condition—the better the condition, the higher the Trade in credit.
Make sure your device meets the following criteria:
✅ Fully Functional — The device can be powered on, hold a charge and operate on battery.
✅ Display — The screen must be in an acceptable condition, responsive and usable. Cracks, scratches, pixelations, coloured lines, burn-ins and dead pixels are all accepted.
✅ Body — Body wear and tear is accepted. Cracks, dents, discolouration and paint wear are accepted.
✅ Critical Components — All hardware components must be in working condition. Buttons, speakers and cameras must be all usable.
☑️ Prepare your iPhone to be traded in.
- If you paired an Apple Watch with your iPhone, unpair your Apple Watch.
- Back up your iPhone with iCloud, or with your Mac or PC.
- If you purchased an AppleCare plan for your device, cancel your AppleCare plan.
- Know your passwords. Sign out of iCloud, Find My and the iTunes & App Store.
⚠️ Do not erase your device. Our Apple Experts will work through the remaining steps in-store and complete the process for Trade in.
☑️ Prepare your non-Apple device to be traded in.
- Make sure your smartphone is fully functional. The display must be responsive and your phone in a usable condition.
- Back up your device with your cloud service of choice or your PC.
- Log out of any smartphone related accounts, such as Google and Samsung accounts.
- Know your passwords. Do not erase your device.
Terms and conditions.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and the sole legal owner of the device.
- Trade in vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue.
- Trade in vouchers must be used in full at the time of redemption—no balance or partial use is permitted.
- Each Trade in voucher can only be redeemed once.
- Cancellation or reversal of a completed Trade in application, is not possible.
- No refunds or returns are allowed for the traded in device.
